John Feigenbaum

John Feigenbaum has been a professional numismatist since 1979 and is President & CEO of Whitman Brands. He began his career as co-founder of David Lawrence Rare Coins, leading the firm’s growth until he sold the company in 2015. In the same year he organized an investment group that acquired CDN Publishing and then Whitman Publishing in 2023, to form Whitman Brands – the leading provider of data, media, and product distribution for the numismatic marketplace. Feigenbaum has written for numerous trade publications, authored The Complete Guide to Washington Quarters, and is currently publisher and pricing editor of A Guide Book of United States Coins (the Red Book), the trusted annual guide to U.S. coin information and market values. He also serves as Executive Director of the Professional Numismatists Guild (PNG) since 2023 and received the PNG’s Abe Kosoff Founders Award in 2014 for his dedication to the numismatic community.
