Beth Deisher

Beth Deisher is a highly respected numismatic author, editor, researcher, and advocate. She spent 27 years as editor of Coin World. During her tenure, she founded Coin Values, Paper Money Values, and WorldWide Coins, supervised multiple editions of the Coin World Almanac, and authored Making the Grade: A Comprehensive Grading Guide to U.S. Coins. After retiring from Coin World, Deisher continued her service to the hobby as Director-and now Executive Director of the Anti-Counterfeiting Educational Foundation, where she leads efforts to educate the public about counterfeit coins, bullion, and paper money. Outside the numismatic field, Deisher has demonstrated sustained leadership in professional communications organizations. She is a past president of Ohio Professional Writers and has been a member of the National Federation of Press Women for more than 40 years, earning national-level recognition three times as a Communicator of Achievement.
